County Supervisor Thinks AZ Doesn’t Border Mexico
County Supervisor Peggy West, member of the Milwaukee County Board, wants Milwaukee to boycott Arizona for its controversial stance on immigration enforcement. Perhaps she should give it a second look (I’m not sure she gave it a first), because, like Texas, it borders Mexico.
Wow, she just keeps talking while saying nothing. How about she gets “a ways removed” from her position on the board? I’m just thinking, maybe we should issue our elected officials some sort of test before they can take office. I know! I know! You’re shouting about discrimination, etc. But I think we ought to discriminate against the uneducated when it comes to positions where their choices affect entire cities, states, countries, or the world. Maybe I’m a bad person for advocating that, but I’m standing by it.
